The theme for my photo shoot will be 1920s Flapper using her lipstick going out. She will be in a flapper dress with a headband on, tights and heels. She will look confident and outgoing.
Where will the images from your photo shoot appear?
The images I will take for my photo shoot will appear in magazines like VOGUE or Vanity Fair.
How would you like the lighting to me?
I would like the lighting to be fairly bright, but dark enough so that is doesn't come up as over-exposed.
What media product will you be advertising?
The product the shoot will be advertising will be lipstick which will be high-lighted by the white background. This specific photo shoot will be used in fashion magazines.
What is your target audience?
The target audience for my photo shoot will be women and teenage girls.
Fitness for purpose?
I think that what we are planning for our shoot is fit for purpose for the product because the form of and content of the photographic shoot match the promotional purposes of the brand product that I am promoting. I think that the 1920's flapper theme is fit for purpose because the colour of the lipstick is very bold and flappers tried hard to be bold in the 1920's. I used Vogue as the magazine that my photographs will be shown in because it is an upmarket magazine aimed at 20-30 years old professional women, who are normally seen as bold confident women.
The product has a sense of glamour to it which is why I think that it would appeal to lots of women because it would make them feel glamourous. This product will possibly be popular to people who are into going out to lots of parties because if it has a glamourous essence to it and it may help women to feel more confident when going out.
